While Captain Ahab feels the Pequod is on the verge of finding the elusive White Whale, some in the crew have reached their limit with the secretive and obsessed captain and contemplate his grisly end. Emerging from a sudden and monstrous typhoon which nearly capsizes the ship, Ahab glimpses at last the monster that has haunted his very existence, the leviathan of the deep, Moby Dick!
